Train to be state certified basketball referee & become part of the official MSY basketball referee pool. The referee training includes:
Training with experienced certified referees in real game situations Training & instruction in state high school rules Training and instruction in handling crowd, coaches and players Training and instruction on Enjoy the Game & Metro Sports sportsmanship rules Official referee shirt & patches designated for MSY tournaments/events only
If you successfully complete the MSY Ref Academy and gain state certification
you will be eligible to referee at all MSY basketball tournaments in 2007-2008.
