Metro Sports Youth All Star Teams: Every player participating in a MSY basketball tournament beginning October 2007 through March 2008 can be nominated (by ANY coach) for the MSY All Star Team. A basketball selection committee will follow the nominations from each tournament and review the eligible All Star team candidates and select two teams from each age boys’ and girls’ division 3rd to 8th grade. Those teams will play in a game which will be televised on Metro Sports and played at a very unique and exclusive venue in Kansas City! The MSY All Star Award weekend is scheduled for April 2008.

Metro Sports Appreciation Tournament: We’ve devised a point system this year to keep track of teams participating in our tournaments. The more MSY basketball tournaments you play in, or MSY basketball leagues, the more points you will receive.

If you earn 50 points for participating you will be invited to a special Appreciation event to play at an exclusive venue in Kansas City in April 2008. The point system break down:

• 10 points for every MSY Basketball Tournament

• 10 points for every MSY Basketball League

•   5 points for every MSY Basketball Jamboree
